Healthy Eating Tips from BNF

The British Nutrition Foundation is delighted to share this short video podcast for students on healthy eating. Our nutrition scientists look at The eatwell plate, and then the 8 tips for eating well.

Eight Tips:

  1. Base your meals on starchy foods.
  2. Eat lots of fruits and veg.
  3. Cut down on saturated fasts and sugar.
  4. Eat more fish.
  5. Try to eat less salt.
  6. Get active; try to be at a healthy weight.
  7. Drink plenty of water.
  8. Don’t skip breakfast.
