It is very true about the comment on this video because some people pretend to save money by eating fast food, they argue that healthy food is very expensive. But when we add up all the medical expenditure due of unhealth food that they eat during a certain period, it becomes clear that eating healthy is better than eating whatever.

I liked this video, we should all shop smarter and pay more attention to what we are eating. Although it is expensive, this video showed alot of ways to save money so you can eat healthy

I loved the video, I also liked the suggestions that were given in regards to saving money, such as bringing you on lunch or plan ahead and already know what you are going to buy before going grocery shopping. I also didn’t know that obese individual spend $395 a year for medical bills as opposed to a person a minimal weight. When you compare expensive groceries to medical bills in the long run. I would go ahead and would think twice about expensive groceries

Eating healthy can be expensive. Just eating is expensive these days. Making a list and clipping coupons can help when you can remember to bring them.
One good habit I have is: I shop for all my dry goods and non-refrigerated foods first then fresh produce and last is the milk and meat section. That way my refrigerated products stay cool longer.

Tips for eating on a budget are ALWAYS welcome. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that grocery prices are outrageous and every little savings tip definitely helps.

Budgets are hard to stick to for lots of people. Making a list only helps me get what I need and then I just seem to find more things to purchase. Portion control I think is another key to losing weight

I think portion control is one of the best ways. It allows a person to still enjoy the things that other “non-dieting” people are enjoying so that they dont burn out so quickly on restricted diets.

I was laughing when she was in front of the cereal isle talking about portion control because I have purchased special K and blown any of the benefits by eating way more than I was ever supposed to for one sitting. I also love the idea of buying the dried beans as opposed to the canned even just for the benefits of having less sodium in the meal. And the thought of actually sticking to the lists I write is a dream i hope to oneday realize.

This video makes a lot of sense to me. Our body is a temple and we should treat it as such but sometimes buying the good stuff for our body is really expensive I’ve found this when I’m shopping. But she gives some really good hints on how to make the shopping a little cheaper.

I like tips about saving money, and eating healthy should be encouraged even though the prices are sometimes a little too much.

This video wasn semi- informative but really I think it was stuff people already know. Making lists can be helpful but I would tend to buy alot of things NOT on my list. Plus the fact that if you make a list of healthier foods, your going to spend more money than you would buying regular food because healthy food is very expensive. Thats one of the reasons why its harder for people to diet because that don’t have the expenses for it. But adding a few healthier things onto a normal list and ising portion control is a great start to eating better.

I try to make a list before going grocery shopping but it never really holds up after I get there and see other things that are on sale or that I forgot to put on the list. I realize also that I do not buy many of the healthier foods because they are usually high priced even though I know in the long run it will pay off. I should not mind paying now if it would mean that I could live longer by just eating healthy.

I agree that we shouldn’t mind paying more now in order to be healthy and live longer.

I’m the same way, It’s just so much easier to pick up some thing off brand and save 50 cents rather than get what’s good for me and pay a little more
