Getting The Most From Your Lemons

There are many health benefits from lemons such as weight loss aid, fighting infection, reduce blood pressure. Most common uses; a slice with water, lemomade, fresh squeezed lemon juice over salads, seafood dishes.

Here is a tip for when you need fresh squeezed lemon juice.
Let the lemons rest to room temperature. They will be easier to squeeze. If using when they are cold, microwave for 20-40 seconds until they are warm to touch.  You can roll them with the palm of your hand to soften them.  Rachel Ray squeezes hers upside-down to keep the seeds from dropping into her dish.

1 medium lemon yields 2-3 tablespoon juice
5-6 lemons yield ~ 1 cup juice
